This is a cut & pasted bio that I love to read about myself, thanks to author fantastique, Mona Rodriguez.  "Robbi Kumalo - an incredible voice, tons of charisma, and charm that wins over any audience. Robbi's performed with a host of legendary artists including Aretha Franklin, Eileen Ivers, Arif Mardin, Jewel, Diana Ross, Jimmy Owens, Ashford & Simpson,  Rod Stewart, Mary J. Blige, and Harry Belafonte among others. Bringing to the stage a level of excitement, Robbi accelerates the audience with her free style unselfish performance.

Her band members are versatile and extraordinary players, who have performed with many music legends themselves. Robbi's personable demeanor is the essence of her show; first going deep into her own zone then pouring it all out in song. Robbi's larger than life stage presence and enticingly beautiful voice have given her the opportunity to perform in throughout the US and abroad, always with great success."
In my own words, I've evolved into a performance artist.  My work has been going on for over 30 years....grateful am I.

Well...welcome 2018!  I got the memo:  LESS is MORE.  In order to keep going FWD, I embrace this as one of my mantras for healthy living.  Doing me is the easiest thing I've ever chosen to do with myself.

I love to create & reinvent.  I've been enjoying the music of Nina Simone for the last few months...I relate to her mental illness first, her yearning, second, & her musical style ultimately.  I humbly perform renditions of her classics that 'tiptoe from sultry to the heart pounding' because I have a voice hidden within hers.  Doing a NINA SIMONE TRIBUTE has been illuminating;  leading me to learn & play my Great African American Songbook.   Know that MS is a predominant friend/foe in my daily life, & it also directs me into new directions.

Over 2 million people around the world develop an unpredictable and disabling condition that nobody seems to understand what causes it or how to treat it properly. I joined this group when I got diagnosed in 2014 with multiple sclerosis or MS, I've been flat out refusing to accept this as a 'problem'.  It's a challenge. To walk, talk, think, play piano, guitar...hard to remember all my nouns & notes...but there's also the new joy I'm discovering thru new creative practices - my voice.

I understand that I'm boundless!  That my energy is special, my love is sincere, & I'm talented.  I make people laugh, recollect, ponder & celebrate - themselves.  I'm also flawed but able to no longer feel ashamed about anything that makes me ME.  So a wobbly leg, the CogFog of forgotten lyrics is not a challenge but a lead me to new unknown life.  This discovery changed me from performing for people, to performing for myself.  I love me!  I crack myself up everyday!  I'm still the storyteller, vocalist, songwriter, filmmaker, actor, puppeteer, piano player, & actor that you've always known but I now I'm practicing sound healing, present motivational talks about SELF, and author books. You might not see me out and about as much, but I'm online posting & creating, often from my bed, with the smallest screen ever!  I also can't give away the milk anymore - so help me & subscribe below and follow me to the next place I be as an artist!

I've always had a knack for sensing what's next....this is it!  I need your $upport Very Much - it takes the pressure off & I'll send you a lot for your donation!  Thank You MUCHO!!  #computercreativity  #nonAI #robbi #MSWarrior  #MSFinest  #LOVE
